Data Governance Product Owner

Role Summary Experienced Data Governance Product Owner responsible for defining and driving the product vision, roadmap, and delivery of enterprise metadata and data governance platforms. Acts as a key bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams to ensure successful delivery of scalable data governance solutions. Roles and Responsibilities Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for enterprise data governance and metadata management platforms Collaborate with engineering teams to define and deliver requirements for centralized metadata ingestion, management, and retrieval solutions (e.g., EDM Metadata Hub) Drive feature ideation, validation, and prioritization based on business value and stakeholder needs Manage and prioritize product backlog, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and delivery milestones Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear communication and delivery alignment Facilitate stakeholder feedback sessions to validate features and ensure solution effectiveness Oversee end-to-end delivery of data governance capabilities, ensuring timely and high-quality execution Collaborate on integration of metadata and governance solutions across enterprise systems via APIs Analyze data usage, trends, and product metrics to support informed product decisions and continuous improvement Technical & Functional Skills 6+ years of experience in Data Governance, Product Management, or related domains Hands‑on experience with data lineage, metadata management, and data governance platforms (e.g., Collibra, Informatica) Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies, including backlog and sprint management Proficiency in product management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar platforms Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data trends and drive product decisions Basic understanding of APIs and system integration concepts Experience working with enterprise data platforms and governance frameworks Core Competencies Strong product ownership and stakeholder management skills Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions Excellent communication and collaboration across cross‑functional teams Strong prioritization and decision‑making abilities in fast‑paced environments Strategic thinking with strong attention to detail in execution #J-18808-Ljbffr
