Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care

Main Function: Provides evaluation and treatment to urgent care patients. Works in cooperation with physicians, nurses, technicians, and others to provide prompt, efficient, and technically excellent care. This position will be at multiple sites: Newark, Canandaigua and Farmington Urgent Cares. Required Job Specific Competencies: Demonstrates skill in communicating both verbally and in writing. Accurately collects records and interprets patient information and data. Demonstrates flexibility in decision making and prioritizing workload. Has good command of knowledge base including knowledge of medical issues for each age group across the lifespan. Provides treatment and evaluation of patients of all levels of acuity. Able to interpret data and anticipate needs for each age-related and functional developmental level and to formulate appropriate treatment plan. Must have a positive, cooperative attitude and exhibit a joyful exuberance for their work. Lives the CARES values at all times.
