A mission-driven community health organization in Brooklyn, New York , is seeking a compassionate Women s Health Nurse Practitioner to join its expanding outpatient clinical team.

This full-time opportunity offers the chance to provide comprehensive women s health, OB/GYN and preventive services within a collaborative Federally Qualified Health Center environment. The incoming provider will work closely with clinical, social-service and community-based teams to improve access to high-quality care for underserved patients.

• Provide comprehensive women s health and OB/GYN services
• Conduct annual examinations, pelvic examinations and Pap smears
• Provide preventive screenings and chronic-disease management
• Assess, diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
• Develop individualized patient-care plans
• Provide episodic care, immunizations, health education and counseling
• Order and collect laboratory specimens, including bloodwork and STI screenings
• Review diagnostic results and determine appropriate follow-up care
• Prescribe medications within the provider s authorized scope of practice
• Coordinate referrals for specialty care, diagnostic testing and community resources
• Collaborate with hospitals, emergency services, social-service professionals and interdisciplinary clinical teams
• Participate in case conferences and quality-improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Support regulatory and organizational compliance activities
• Participate in on-call coverage and assist with urgent patient-care needs when required
• Support and supervise Patient Care Associates

• Master s or doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Active New York State Registered Nurse license
• Current New York State Nurse Practitioner certification and registration
• Certification in Women s Health, Obstetrics/Gynecology or another directly applicable NP specialty
• Clinical knowledge of women s health, preventive care and OB/GYN services
• Strong assessment, diagnostic and care-coordination skills
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary care team
• Commitment to culturally responsive, patient-centered care
• Interest in serving diverse and underserved communities

The Nurse Practitioner will provide care across two nearby outpatient health-center locations in Brooklyn. The organization uses an integrated care model that brings together women s health, primary care, behavioral health, social services and other supportive resources.

The position supports preventive care, early intervention, patient education and coordinated services for women and families throughout the community.

Compensation starts at $150,000 annually .
