Position: Internist Physician Location: Saint Louis, MOJob Id: 213 # of Openings: 1 POSITION TITLE: Internist PhysicianREPORTS TO: Director of Medical Services CLASSIFICATION: ExemptCare STL Health is seeking an Internist Physician to join our team. The Internist diagnoses and treats diseases and injuries of human internal organ systems of adult and geriatric patients.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:The following information is considered the definition of essential functions but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. The Internist may be reassigned duties and responsibilities at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other staffing reasons.Provides for clinical care including but not limited to acute and chronic medical and health maintenance care of adult and geriatric patients; provides after-hours coverage for urgent health care problems for health center patients on a rotational on-call basisParticipates in the health center's Performance Improvement program and assists in the formulation and implementation of the health center's health care plan especially in internal medicine protocolsPractices evidence-based medicine and Patient-Centered medicine.Proficient in using electronic health records (here) for Clinical documentation; order and review labs and radiology and clear all the tasks promptly per organizational policies.Maintain the required Medical Licenses, Certifications, and Credentials that are requiredJOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:Education:MD I DO from an Accredited UniversityCompleted ACGME Accredited Residency Training in Internal MedicineBoard Eligible or Board Certified as an Internist licensed to practice in the State of MissouriKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Effective clinical and communication skillsTransportation Requirement:Must have Reliable TransportationAdditional Information:Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.11 paid holidays per year.Full benefits package.Public Service Loan Forgiveness.*We believe that health care is right and not a privilege.
