Fitness & Wellness Specialist- Part Time

At Cornerstone Clubs, we believe exercise is medicine. We’re looking for an experienced fitness professional who is passionate about helping people regain confidence, improve their health, and enjoy an active lifestyle. If you have experience working with individuals recovering from injury, managing chronic conditions, or transitioning from physical therapy to independent exercise, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

·       Develop and implement individualized exercise programs for clients with medical conditions and post-rehabilitation needs
·       Perform fitness and movement assessments
·       Educate clients on safe exercise techniques, posture, balance, and healthy lifestyle habits
·       Monitor progress and adjust programs based on client goals and outcomes
·       Maintain accurate client documentation
·       Stay current with evidence-based exercise and wellness practices
·       Build positive, lasting relationships and members while creating an exceptional experience 

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

 
·       Holds a nationally accredited Personal Training certification 
·       Has experience working with medical, clinical, or special populations
·       Understands chronic disease management, injury prevention, and post-rehabilitative exercise
·       Communicates with empathy, professionalism, and confidence
·       Enjoys educating and motivating others
·       Values teamwork and providing outstanding member experiences

 
Qualifications

• Nationally accredited Personal Trainer certification: NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA or equivalent
• Current CPR/AED Certification
• Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field preferred
• Availability for flexible scheduling including some mornings, evenings and weekends

Physical Requirements
·       Stand for extended periods
·       Demonstrate exercises throughout the day
·       Bend, squat, reach, and lift up to 40lbs without assistance
