Job Description Job Description HVAC General Manager Greater Boston Area $105,000-$135,000 Base + Profit Sharing Target Earnings: $125,000-$160,000+ Overview This is not a traditional "behind-the-desk" General Manager role. We are seeking a licensed HVAC leader who enjoys staying connected to the field while building and leading a high-performing team. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a growing HVAC division with real influence over its direction. Early on, the role will blend field leadership with operational management. As the division scales, the position will naturally evolve into a more strategic, operations-focused leadership role. This position is ideal for someone who leads by example, develops people, and understands how to grow a business without compromising quality or culture. Key Responsibilities * Lead and grow the HVAC division from both an operational and technical standpoint * Support technicians in the field with diagnostics, training, and mentorship * Oversee scheduling, workflow, quality control, and customer experience * Build and implement scalable systems, processes, and SOPs * Ensure compliance with licensing, permitting, and safety requirements * Assist with hiring, onboarding, and developing technicians * Partner with ownership on growth strategy and long-term planning * Maintain high standards for workmanship, ethics, and customer satisfaction Qualifications * Active Massachusetts HVAC license required * 15+ years of HVAC industry experience * Strong background in residential or commercial HVAC * Proven leadership experience managing teams or departments * Advanced diagnostic and technical expertise * Ability to build structure while maintaining a strong team culture * Comfortable balancing field involvement with operational leadership * Experience with ServiceTitan or similar platforms is a plus Compensation & Benefits * $105,000-$135,000 base salary (DOE) * Profit-sharing tied directly to division performance * Target earnings of $125,000-$160,000+ * Paid time off and holidays * Health benefits * Long-term leadership and advancement opportunity Why Join This is an opportunity to build something meaningful—not just manage it.
