Role Description Agency Sales Representatives at Colonial Life play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with employers and employees in Missouri City, TX. This full-time, on-site position focuses on identifying prospective business clients, conducting needs assessments, and presenting Colonial Life’s workplace benefit solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include scheduling and attending client meetings, delivering benefit education sessions, supporting enrollment activities, and providing ongoing service to existing accounts. Representatives collaborate with local agency leadership to meet sales goals, participate in training and development programs, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role involves regular in-person interaction, requiring effective communication, professionalism, and a strong customer-focused mindset. Qualifications Strong sales and business development capabilities, including prospecting, relationship building, and closing new accounts. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain insurance products and benefits clearly to diverse audiences. Customer service orientation, demonstrating empathy, responsiveness, and follow-through in supporting employers and employees. Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts, meetings, and enrollment activities effectively. Comfort working in an on-site environment, including traveling locally within Missouri City, TX for client visits and enrollment events. Basic proficiency with digital tools and office software for managing client information, reporting, and enrollment technology platforms. Prior experience in insurance, benefits, or B2B sales is preferred, but candidates with strong transferable sales skills are encouraged to apply. Ability to meet applicable licensing requirements for insurance sales in Texas (or willingness to obtain required licenses promptly). High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
