Entry Level Scientist

Entry-level scientist position at Thermo Fisher Scientific's GMP laboratory in Middleton, Wisconsin. Performs sample preparation and analysis for pharmaceutical clients using analytical instrumentation while following regulatory standards and standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sample preparation and analysis procedures to quantify pharmaceutical compounds in various formulations
• Operate and maintain analytical instrumentation according to standard operating procedures
• Review and compile analytical results against acceptance criteria and protocol specifications
• Support stability and analytical testing for pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical samples
• Cross-train on sample preparation techniques with other laboratory groups

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or equivalent formal qualification
• 0-2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and training
• Knowledge of analytical instrumentation operation and regulatory guidelines
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
