A specialty pharmacy in Walker, MN is seeking an experienced pharmacist for a 13+ week contract opportunity. This role involves a blend of retail and long-term care pharmacy duties, providing a dynamic work environment where your expertise can make a significant impact on patient care.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
• Rotating weekends

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in both retail and long-term care settings
• Counsel patients and caregivers on proper medication use and potential side effects
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy
• Participate in medication therapy management and documentation processes

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Minnesota pharmacist license
• Recent pharmacist experience, preferably with exposure to both retail and long-term care environments
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy best practices and regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
