• Administer focused one-on-one speech therapy sessions that prioritize communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing techniques.
• Engage with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop unified care approaches.
• Educate patients and families to support growth and progress outside therapy sessions.
• Provide occasional inpatient assessments and therapeutic interventions, ensuring a seamless treatment journey.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation that adheres to state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Keep abreast of advancements in the field through continual education and peer engagement.

Educational Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certification Requirements

• State licensure as a Speech Language Therapist.
• Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
