What success looks like in this role: As Client CTO, you will act as a trusted technical advisor to C-suite stakeholders at some of our most important client accounts, leading solution strategy, innovation roadmaps, and technical excellence. You will bring a strong understanding of risk, compliance, and operational resilience — ensuring that technology strategies align with regulatory expectations, security standards, and business continuity requirements. The role emphasizes balancing innovation with control, enabling clients to modernize while maintaining trust, stability, and audit readiness.Working closely with sales, delivery, product, and portfolio teams, you will shape and present compelling solutions aligned to client goals and Unisys capabilities — connecting technology innovation to business outcomes, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering long-term value as clients navigate their digital future.What You Will DoAnticipate emerging technology trends and translate them into client valueLead strategic discussions and innovation forums with clientsDevelop multi-year transformation roadmaps aligned to business prioritiesCollaborate with sales, pre-sales, and delivery teams to shape winning solutionsProvide strategic input into proposals, renewals, and account plansBuild and sustain strong relationships with client executives and key stakeholdersIntegrate cybersecurity, data protection, and compliance considerations into all solution designsGuide modernization of legacy platforms while minimizing risk to critical financial operationsPromote secure-by-design and compliance-by-design principles across all proposed solutionsRepresent a holistic view of Unisys across all business units and act as the primary technical representative to client leadership, including the C-suiteDrive client-facing strategy and innovation engagements, including executive briefings, technology workshops, and roadmap discussionsFoster long-term client relationships and identify new opportunities to expand Unisys’s portfolio of servicesHow You Will WorkLead from the front with a proactive, outcome-oriented approach while adapting to client culture and operating environmentsBuild relationships across the client organization and earn a seat at the tableCollaborate with the Client Executive, Client Delivery Executive, and Client Security Officer to ensure a coordinated leadership approachOperate effectively within highly governed financial environments, balancing innovation velocity with control, documentation, and approval processesWork cross-functionally across technical, commercial, and delivery teamsFacilitate executive strategy discussions, innovation forums, and technology workshops connecting emerging technologies to client priorities and long-term transformation plansPromote a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvementYou will be successful in this role if you have:What You Bring15+ years in IT Architecture, CTO, or innovation leadership roles, ideally within Cloud Applications & Infrastructure or Digital Workplace domainsProven track record of driving digital transformation and innovation at enterprise scaleStrong expertise in Digital Workplace technologies or cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), with the ability to translate technology into business outcomesProven track record in pre-sales solutioning, consultative selling, and engaging senior stakeholdersStrong commercial acumen with experience influencing large-scale dealsDemonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level stakeholdersBroad understanding of enterprise technology landscapes and experience in global, matrixed organizationsExceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical solutions into business valuePreferred Industry ExperienceExperience working within or supporting financial services organizations (e.g., banking, capital markets, mortgage, payments, or insurance)Familiarity with regulated environments and the impact of compliance, audit, and risk management on technology deliveryExperience supporting large-scale, mission-critical platforms requiring high availability, resilience, and securityLeadership ExpectationsAct as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to clientsChampion innovation with a focus on measurable outcomesBridge business and technology priorities effectivelyDrive collaboration across internal and external stakeholdersMaintain a strong focus on value realization and client outcomesThis role may require access to export-controlled commodities and technology.
