Opportunity Overview

Our organization is on the lookout for a full-time cardiac electrophysiologist to become a part of our esteemed Heart and Vascular team, which consists of 18 cardiologists, 2 dedicated electrophysiologists, and 5 advanced practice clinicians. As the largest multi-specialty group in the East Bay region of San Francisco, we are proud to have over 400 providers committed to delivering exceptional healthcare across our communities. Our innovative Heart and Vascular program encompasses not only standard preventative and general cardiology services but also specialized treatments, including complex coronary interventions, structural heart and valvular procedures, electrophysiology, comprehensive cardiac imaging, advanced heart failure management, and clinical research across four hospitals and various outpatient clinics. Our electrophysiology program is fully comprehensive, offering both routine and advanced cardiac ablations, including pulse field ablation and epicardial procedures with and without mechanical support, a wide range of CIED implants, lead extraction, and left atrial appendage occlusion. Additionally, we are engaged in multiple clinical trials focusing on PFA, thermal and surgical hybrid atrial fibrillation ablation, VT ablation, and CIED diagnostics and implants. As we expand our services to better serve the East Bay community and beyond, we are in need of a full-time cardiac electrophysiologist to support our rapid growth and uphold our mission of prioritizing patients and people.

Our Cardiac Electrophysiology laboratory is located at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center in Oakland, CA. This facility serves as the tertiary referral center for cardiac care in the East Bay region, featuring two EP laboratories, including a hybrid OR suite.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology
• Possession of an active and unrestricted California Medical License
• Active and unrestricted cardiac fluoroscopy license
• Current DEA license

Compensation Range

The annual salary range for this position is between USD $537,722 and USD $625,261. This figure represents the base compensation for full-time clinicians (1.0 FTE) and does not include additional incentives or benefits. The base salary may be adjusted based on factors such as training, experience, community needs, and other relevant considerations.
