Apartment Maintenance Technician

Location: Rochester, NY
Pay: Up to $22/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

Career Strategies is seeking an experienced  Apartment Maintenance Technician for an apartment community in  Rochester, NY . If you're looking for a steady weekday schedule and enjoy hands-on maintenance work in a residential setting, this is a great opportunity to put your skills to work.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders efficiently
• Perform apartment make-readies and turnovers
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Repair drywall, paint, doors, blinds, and other interior finishes
• Diagnose and complete basic appliance repairs
• Help maintain the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of the property
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and management

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance experience required
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, painting, drywall, and general maintenance
• HVAC knowledge is a plus
• Appliance repair experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and stay organized
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
