Medical-Surgical RN in Oakfield, GA

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to adult patients on a busy medical-surgical unit
• Collaborate closely with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and healthcare support staff
• Administer medications, monitor patient progress, and update care plans as needed
• Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and post-discharge care
• Respond quickly to patient needs, emergencies, and changes in health status
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies and best practices

Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of one year of recent experience as an RN in a med-surg environment
• Proficiency in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with teams and providing patient education
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; additional credentials preferred
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and shifting patient needs
