A&p Mechanic

A&P Mechanic, Butler, PAWe are seeking an A&P Mechanic to join our team and support the Disassembly, Clean, Inspection, and Assembly areas of our PT6 engine shop. This position involves ensuring safety practices, coordinating maintenance schedules, and maintaining a clean and orderly work area.ResponsibilitiesDisassemble, clean, inspect, and assemble components in the shop.Track and verify priorities, schedule outputs, and report findings daily.Ensure proper equipment and safety practices are used.Communicate and coordinate maintenance schedules with team members.Maintain a clean and orderly work area, following all safety instructions.Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.Use computers and develop a working knowledge of all Microsoft applications.Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Provide progress updates and address issues during the cleaning process.Maintain equipment through routine inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs.Operate hand tools, lathe, power tools, and measuring instruments.Read and interpret aircraft diagrams, charts, and schematics.Lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces.Possess manual dexterity required for the technician role.Essential SkillsA&P LicenseExperience with engine repair, maintenance, and overhaulKnowledge of PT6 and Pratt & Whitney enginesStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematicsProficiency in Microsoft applicationsWhy Work Here?Join a leading provider in the aerospace and defense industries with a global presence. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
