Pool Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Grate Pools, Inc. is a well-established, high end pool/spa maintenance, renovation and construction company in the DMV area seeking a Pool Maintenance Technician to join our team, learn on the job, and expand with our company! Year-round employment (full and part time), pay of $22/hr to start (more for candidates with relevant experience), health benefits, 401k, paid time off and skill/knowledge development with promotional opportunities.

Responsibilities:

Test and chemically treat pools based on test results
Clean pools using vacuums, maintenance equipment and nets
Perform routine preventive maintenance and diagnose/fix basic pool equipment/hardware/leak issues
Use mobile apps to maintain schedule and update accounts

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a pool operator or as pool maintenance and service tech preferred
Familiarity with pool testing/chemicals/plumbing/pumps/electrical and opening/closing
Ability to handle physical workload, including carrying at least 35lbs to and from worksites multiple times a day
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record required
