Contract | 10-Week Assignment | Nights, 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with expected ratios of 1:6, with potential flex to 1:7 in the event of unplanned staffing absences
• Perform and respond to telemetry monitoring, insulin administration, and rapid response situations
• Participate in on-call availability on a PRN basis during low census periods
• Float within scope of practice to like units as needed to meet facility staffing needs
• Document all patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact RN license — must be in hand prior to start date
• BLS certification required
• Proficiency in Epic electronic health records
• Skills in Med/Surg, MS/Telemetry, insulin management, and rapid response
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience preferred
• ACLS certification preferred
• NIHSS certification preferred
