Job Summary:
The Utility Associate – Solder works with badges once they are finished curing, performing operations to ensure all clips/pins are secured. This involves operating various fabrication machinery, working with tools, and visually inspecting parts.
- Using hand/power tools to assemble metal components
- Placing pins/clips and using epoxy or glue to “solder” pieces to metal casings
- Operating department machinery (ex. Dapping Machine, Fusion Machine, Link-o-Matic Machine, etc.)
- Move soldered or annealing work to next station.
- Following manufacturing work instructions to complete processes
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of manufacturing experience (small part assembly preferred)
- Excellent hand and eye coordination.
- Ability to read work tickets, good written and verbal communication.
