Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license for Special Service Providers (SSP)
- Experience in a school setting, preferably working with elementary and middle school populations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, primarily in grades K-5, with potential to work with some middle school grades
- Manage a caseload of approximately 40-60 students at a single school site
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments to determine special education eligibility
- Develop and write thorough Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings as a key team member
- Collaborate closely with educators and families to ensure students' needs are met
Key Details:
- Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week
- Contract runs through May 21, 2027
- Immediate start date available
