Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.Please note that per our policy on hybrid/virtual work, candidates not within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s) will not be considered for employment, unless an accommodation is granted as required by law.The Financial Analyst Senior is responsible for preparing financial and business-related analyses and researching in such areas as financial performance, provider payment inquiries, submitting non-claim provider payments (e.g., Medicaid State Directed Program payments), preparing month-end accruals, developing and executing business improvement opportunities.How You Will Make an Impact:Prepares Medicaid non-claim provider payments.Researches payment inquiries and communicates provider payment information to internal and external stakeholders.Compiles and prepares standard and adhoc financial and regulatory reports.Prepares month-end high dollar accrual information used to support actuarial reserves.Participates and engages in business improvement projectsOther duties as assigned.Minimum Requirements:Requires a BA/BS in accounting or finance and a minimum of 1 year of experience in general accounting, financial planning, and management reporting or an approved Finance internship; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred.Job Level:Non-Management ExemptWorkshift:1st Shift (United States of America)Job Family:AFA > Financial Reporting, Planning & Analysis
