responsibilities

key responsibilities

• provide nursing care within scope of practice in accordance with the nurse practice act and regulatory standards
• ensure patient safety by recognizing limitations and seeking resources when needed
• delegate tasks appropriately and collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
• set priorities and evaluate patient outcomes through evidence-based interventions
• utilize the nursing process to develop and implement individualized care plans

qualifications

qualifications

• ba/bs/bsn required
• active new jersey rn license required
• minimum 1 year of bedside nursing experience in acute care or rehab
• prior critical care experience preferred
• bls required
• acls required within 6 months of hire
• previous hospital experience strongly preferred
• strong communication skills and ability to work with patients and families
• basic computer proficiency and familiarity with healthcare systems
