As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government education location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide professional customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $22.74 / Hour Job Schedule Mon: 06:00 PM - 12:00 AM Thur: 06:00 PM - 12:0 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and community members by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at an educational campus location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate school personnel and/or emergency responders as directed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, entrances, parking areas, athletic fields, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for students, staff, and visitors. Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts. Minimum Requirements At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
