Human Resources Generalist

The Human Resources Generalist serves as the subject matter expert for the human resources management systems Duties include collecting data and analyzing it to improve HR strategies and processes Works to suggest ways to increase the functional productivity and workflow of the HR department Maintains Rockdale County's Human Resources Information System (HRIS), data and records Supports the compensation analyst with system data related to classification & compensation Provides informational support for designated Human Resources program areas such as Recruitment & Retention, Employee Relations, Benefits & Wellness, Performance management, as well as Learning & Development Prepares reports, records, and correspondence Maintains department records Handles special projects as assigned Analyzes and maintains human resources information systems and other computer applications and systems Coordinates and maintains departmental records to include official employee files both print and digital Assists the Compensation Analyst with verification and accuracy of the county's budgeted headcount and classification and pay plan based upon Board of Commissioners' actions Requirements Bachelor's degree in human resources, public or business administrative, or a related field Five (5) years of professional office experience in a Human Resources environment or related field Valid State of Georgia Driver's License Preferred Experience working with human resources information systems technology Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification, Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Employee Benefits (CEB) or other designated professional certification.
