Ypsilanti‑area schools are hiring multiple Speech‑Language Pathologists for the 2026–2027 school year, with placements running August 31, 2026 through June 4, 2027. These roles support K–12 caseloads and require fully onsite service delivery. The district is open to full‑time (37.5 hrs/week) or part‑time candidates.

SLP‑CFs cannot be considered for these openings.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct Therapy — Provide evidence‑based speech‑language services across K–12 settings.
• Evaluations — Complete assessments, reevaluations, and eligibility reports.
• IEP Participation — Attend meetings, collaborate on goals, and maintain compliance.
• Indirect Services — Documentation, progress monitoring, and team collaboration.
• Collaboration — Work closely with teachers, case managers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Schedule & Caseload

• Start Date: August 31, 2026
• End Date: June 4, 2027
• Hours: Full‑time at 37.5 hours/week; part‑time candidates may be presented
• Caseload: K–12; full‑time caseloads typically up to district maximums

Qualifications

• Active Michigan SLP license
• No SLP‑CFs for these openings
• Strong school‑based experience preferred
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Must be able to work onsite only — no virtual options for this district
