As the Restaurant General Manager , you will own the overall performance of your Taco Bell restaurant. You will set the tone for a positive, inclusive, and high-energy workplace while ensuring guests receive great food, friendly service, and a consistently excellent experience.

The best leaders in this role build a restaurant that runs smoothly whether they are in the building or not. You will develop your management team, coach future leaders, create operational discipline, and deliver results across people, customer satisfaction, sales, and profitability.

Build and Develop a Winning Team

• Recruit, select, and retain exceptional Team Members, Shift Leads, and Assistant Managers
• Create a welcoming and engaging onboarding experience for every new hire
• Follow structured training plans to prepare team members for success and advancement
• Coach, develop, and mentor Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Team Members
• Build a strong leadership bench through people planning and succession discussions
• Conduct regular manager meetings, one-on-ones, and performance conversations
• Recognize outstanding performance and create an environment where people feel valued
• Address employee concerns and resolve workplace conflict promptly, fairly, and professionally
• Foster a culture built on accountability, teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement

Deliver an Exceptional Guest Experience

• Lead by example through positive, service-focused interactions with every guest
• Ensure great food quality, speed of service, cleanliness, accuracy, and hospitality on every shift
• Address guest concerns quickly and effectively, turning challenges into opportunities to build loyalty
• Build schedules that support business needs while ensuring the restaurant is properly staffed during peak periods
• Coach leaders and team members to consistently raise the bar on guest satisfaction
• Maintain a safe, clean, welcoming restaurant environment for guests and employees

Drive Sales, Profitability, and Operational Excellence

• Take ownership of restaurant sales, labor, food cost, controlables, and overall profitability
• Review financial performance, identify opportunities, and execute action plans that improve results without sacrificing guest experience
• Manage the restaurant budget and make sound business decisions every day
• Maintain strong operational standards, food safety practices, inventory controls, and cash-handling procedures
• Use reports, trends, and key performance indicators to guide staffing, training, and operational priorities
• Ensure consistent execution of Taco Bell brand standards, company procedures, and local requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Restaurant General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or comparable multi-unit restaurant leadership experience
• Proven success leading, coaching, and retaining hourly and management-level teams
• A strong understanding of restaurant operations, scheduling, labor management, food cost, and P&L performance
• A guest-first mindset with a commitment to quality, speed, cleanliness, and hospitality
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• A positive, accountable leadership style that motivates others to perform at their best
• Flexibility to work restaurant operating hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
