ROOM ATTENDANT

Job Details Location: TRU by Hilton- Austin TX - Austin, TX 78705 Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: Any Responsibilities Clean and service assigned guest rooms and bathrooms in a timely and organized manner according to procedures and standards. Change sheets, make beds and vacuum in both stay‑over and check‑out guest rooms. Dust entire guest room including tables, nightstands, dressers, light fixtures, televisions, air‑condition units, and window ledges in all rooms. Clean all mirrors. Notify guest services (front desk) when service is complete so rooms may be sold. Report any room unable to be serviced within appropriate time standards to the supervisor. Report needed repairs of unsafe conditions to the supervisor. Respond to requests from guests, supervisors or management in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain linen cart and supplies neat and organized to department standards. Maintain the security of equipment, keys, and supplies issued each day. Report lost and found articles to the supervisor. Replace light bulbs. Transport trash and waste to disposal area. Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, writing, bathroom supplies, and linen. Clean rooms in accordance to the specific brand and company minutes per room standard. Follow procedures for team cleaning and self‑inspecting program. Respond quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Report appropriate complaints or requests to the appropriate department. Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction. Keep maid station clean and organized, and make rollaway beds. Provide a professional image at all times through appearance and dress. Follow company policies and procedures. Note: Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management. Qualifications Strong attention to detail and cleanliness. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Positive attitude with a commitment to guest satisfaction. Ability to follow brand standards and hotel procedures. Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. Basic understanding of workplace safety practices. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours per shift. Frequently bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and twist. Lift and carry up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.
