Financial Modeling Analyst

A growing financial consulting firm is seeking a Financial Modeling Analyst to support business valuation and financial advisory engagements. This role focuses on financial analysis, valuation modeling, and preparing reports to support mergers & acquisitions, ownership transitions, strategic planning, and other business initiatives. This is a full-time, onsite position in Dallas- Fort Worth, TX . Responsibilities Perform business valuations using DCF, market comparable, and other valuation methodologies. Analyze financial statements, identify value drivers, and build financial models. Conduct forecasting, scenario, and sensitivity analyses. Prepare valuation reports, presentations, and supporting documentation. Research industry trends and market data to support valuation assumptions. Collaborate with senior team members to complete valuation engagements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field. 1–3 years of experience in business valuation, financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related field. Strong understanding of financial statements and valuation methodologies. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling, Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and forecasting. Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently. Preferred Experience with Power Query or financial model automation. Interest in pursuing professional valuation certifications (CVA, ASA, or similar). What You'll Bring Strong financial modeling and analytical skills. Attention to detail and accuracy.
