We are expanding our SMB business and looking for sales professionals who want more than just a sales territory—they want the opportunity to help build something new.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial SMB Outside Sales Representative to help launch and grow WeLink's small and medium-sized business customer base in new markets.

This is a field-based B2B sales role focused on identifying businesses that need better internet service, building relationships with business owners and decision-makers, and turning new markets into revenue-producing territories.

The ideal candidate is comfortable walking into a business, introducing themselves to an owner or decision-maker, uncovering a need, and asking for the sale. You should be highly self-motivated, persistent, and excited by the opportunity to build a territory rather than simply manage an existing book of business.

What You'll Do

• Identify and pursue new SMB sales opportunities within assigned markets and territories.
• Prospect directly into businesses through in-person visits and sometimes cold outreach.
• Develop relationships with business owners, managers, property managers, and other key decision-makers.
• Meet face-to-face with small and medium-sized business owners and decision-makers to understand their internet and connectivity needs.

• Present WeLink's business internet solutions and clearly communicate the value, reliability, speed, and flexibility of our service.
• Overcome objections, negotiate when appropriate, and confidently close new business.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified SMB opportunities.

• Coordinate with internal teams to support a smooth transition from sale to installation and activation.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in B2B, outside sales, business development, or a similar field-based sales role.
• Comfortable walking into businesses, and initiating conversations with people you have never met.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Ability to speak confidently with business owners and decision-makers.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
• Competitive, persistent, and results-oriented.
• Ability to learn and confidently communicate technical products and services.
• Telecommunications, internet, technology, or B2B sales experience is a plus, but not required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
