Overview Department: Medical Surgical Acute Unit 5 Shift’s Available: Nights Hours: 12-hour shifts: 7p - 7a Employment Type: Full Time Location: Riverview Regional Medical Center – Gadsden, AL We are seeking a Medical-Surgical Nursing Assistant (Certified or Non-Certified) , also referred to as a Med-Surg Tele Nursing Assistant. The Med-Surg/Tele Nursing Assistant provides basic patient care,monitoringvital signs, supporting mobility, and ensuring patient safety for adults recovering from surgeries or illnesses while on heart monitors. They play a critical role inobservingpatients, reporting changes, andmaintaininga safe, supportive environment to promote recovery. Responsibilities ** If youare a non-licensedNursing Assistant (NA) or a Certified (CNA)and have no prior experience, weencourageyouto apply.Entry-Level NAs or CNAsare welcome to apply! Basic patient care: help patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) like bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating Vital signs monitoring: take and record blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation Mobilityassistance: help patients get in and out of bed, walk, or use assistive devices.
