Marketing Manager

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to support and grow a developer ecosystem through impactful marketing, engagement, and community initiatives. This role will focus on increasing developer sign-ups, adoption, engagement, and retention while serving as a key bridge between developers, Product, Engineering, and internal marketing teams.

The ideal candidate combines strong developer marketing knowledge, project management, operational execution, and cross-functional collaboration skills . This is an execution-oriented role, with approximately 80% of the work focused on project execution and program management rather than high-level marketing strategy.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working with developer communities, understanding technical audiences, identifying community and product opportunities, and driving initiatives from planning through execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developer Marketing & Community Engagement
  
  
  • Develop and execute marketing and engagement initiatives designed to attract, onboard, engage, and retain developers .
  • Support programs that increase developer sign-ups, product adoption, and ongoing ecosystem engagement .
  • Develop a strong understanding of developer audiences, behaviors, needs, and pain points.
  • Partner with developer communities and, where applicable, open-source ecosystems to strengthen developer engagement.
  • Translate developer and community insights into actionable marketing and engagement programs.
  • Support initiatives focused on building awareness, adoption, and sustained participation within the developer ecosystem.
• Project & Program Management
  
  
  • Own projects and initiatives from planning through execution and completion .
  • Develop project plans, establish milestones, track deliverables, identify dependencies, and ensure timely execution.
  • Coordinate multiple stakeholders and workstreams across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and developer-facing teams.
  • Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and proactively identify and resolve execution risks.
  • Maintain clear project documentation, status updates, timelines, and action items.
  • Demonstrate strong ownership and a bias toward action , ensuring initiatives move forward and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Developer Feedback & Insights
  
  
  • Monitor, collect, organize, and triage product and community feedback from developers.
  • Identify recurring developer issues, pain points, opportunities, and trends.
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to communicate relevant developer feedback.
  • Help translate technical or developer requirements into actionable marketing, engagement, and community initiatives.
  • Follow issues through resolution and help ensure developer feedback is appropriately represented in internal discussions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  
  
  • Serve as a central point of coordination between developer communities and internal teams.
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Product to understand technical requirements and developer needs.
  • Collaborate with Marketing teams while ensuring developer programs remain aligned with broader business and ecosystem objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Communicate complex information clearly and effectively to different audiences.

Required Qualifications:

• 6 years of relevant professional experience in marketing, developer marketing, community programs, program/project management, product operations, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience working with developer audiences, developer ecosystems, technical communities, or open-source communities .
• Strong project and program management skills with demonstrated ability to drive initiatives from planning through execution.
• Experience partnering closely with Product and Engineering teams .
• Strong understanding of developer needs and the ability to translate technical or community insights into actionable programs.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ownership, proactivity, and bias toward action .
• Ability to operate effectively in an execution-heavy environment rather than relying primarily on high-level marketing strategy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting open-source communities or developer ecosystems .
• Experience working with robotics developers, robotics communities, or robotics-related technologies .
• Experience in developer marketing, developer relations, technical community management, or ecosystem marketing.
• Experience working in close partnership with engineering organizations.
• Experience translating developer feedback or technical requirements into marketing, engagement, or community programs.
• Experience in a technology environment involving APIs, developer platforms, SDKs, software tools, or technical products.
• Experience managing cross-functional programs involving Product, Engineering, and Marketing.
