Licensed Electrician — Full-Time or Part-Time

Stanley Electric is hiring licensed electricians to join our growing team serving Hancock County, Washington County, Mount Desert Island, and surrounding communities.

We are accepting applicants with a:

• Journeyman-in-Training License

• Journeyman Electrician License

• Limited Master Electrician License

• Master Electrician License

This is an opportunity for electricians who want steady, year-round work without overnight travel. We offer flexible scheduling, full-time or part-time opportunities, and overtime is available—but never required.

Our work includes residential, commercial, service, renovations, generators, heat pumps, and new construction. You'll enjoy a wide variety of projects while staying close to home and becoming part of a team that values quality workmanship, professionalism, and work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial properties (license dependent)

• Troubleshoot electrical issues and complete service work

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

• Perform new construction, renovations, service upgrades, and electrical remodels

• Install lighting, generators, heat pump electrical systems, low-voltage, alarms, and communication systems

• Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and company safety standards

• Work professionally with customers, contractors, and fellow team members

• Identify problems and recommend practical, high-quality solutions

Qualifications

• Current Maine Journeyman-in-Training, Journeyman, Limited Master, or Master Electrician License

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, NEC requirements, and safe work practices

• Experience in residential, commercial, service, or industrial electrical work preferred

• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics

• Ability to use hand tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Dependable, self-motivated, and committed to quality workmanship

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
