Job Description
This position is for an Occupational Therapist working day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a guaranteed 35 hours per week for a 92-week contract. The OT provides rehabilitation services to patients experiencing physical, cognitive, or functional limitations due to injury, illness, or surgery. The therapist focuses on helping patients regain independence with daily activities and improving overall functional ability through individualized treatment programs. Requirements:
Candidates must hold an active Occupational Therapist license in the appropriate state and have graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapy program. Prior experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or outpatient settings is preferred. Strong knowledge of therapeutic interventions, adaptive equipment, and patient safety practices is required. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills and proficiency in electronic medical record documentation.
