Makes moderate to substantial improvements to systems and processes. Contributes to achievement of departmental goals and operating plans with direct impact on the departmental results.Essential Functions:Generating scope of work (SOW) documentation for purchasing new automation.Project management of equipment design, build, installation and validation of new automation.Receiving Scope of Work from Manufacturing Engineers and developing a controls solution to address the scope of work.Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.Preferred Additional Skills:Experience automating solid rocket motor manufacturing processes.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering.Experience with automating manual manufacturing processes.Experience developing SOW’s.
