Assistant Manager

Help open Burgerville’s new restaurant in Kennewick, Washington, expected to open in early 2027!

We’re looking for an Assistant Manager to help build and train our opening team, establish strong restaurant routines, and create outstanding guest experiences from the start. This role partners closely with the General Manager to lead daily operations and build a positive workplace culture grounded in our mission: Serve with Love .

The Assistant Manager is responsible for leading the restaurant when the General Manager is unavailable and plays a key role in supporting food quality, team development, operational excellence, and community engagement.

What You’ll Do

• Support pre-opening preparation, including recruiting, onboarding, training, and establishing daily routines for the new restaurant

• Support daily restaurant operations with a focus on quality, hospitality, and team performance
• Lead the restaurant in the General Manager’s absence
• Coach, train, and develop Shift Leads and Crew Members
• Help drive sales, labor, food cost, and operational results
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences and resolve guest concerns
• Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and employee retention
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and shift execution
• Support local marketing initiatives, community events, and restaurant growth
• Build a positive, respectful, and high-performing team culture

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Passion for hospitality, food quality, and team development
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Experience coaching and developing others
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• High school diploma or GED required
• 1–2 years of restaurant leadership experience preferred
