Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech)Compensation: $31 to $45 depending on years of experienceThe CT Technologist performs high-quality diagnostic CT imaging procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist. This role includes preparing and positioning patients, operating CT equipment, administering IV/oral contrast, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. The technologist uses independent judgment, technical expertise, and compassion to deliver accurate diagnostic images that guide patient care.ResponsibilitiesExplain CT procedures clearly and compassionately to patients of all agesPosition patients appropriately to capture precise diagnostic imagesOperate CT scanners and associated equipment, reporting malfunctions as neededAdminister intravenous/oral contrast safely according to protocolsAssist Radiologists with image-guided procedures, maintaining sterile techniqueReview patient history, consents, and labs to ensure safe imaging practicesAccurately label and document images and pertinent clinical informationMove patients safely on/off tables, stretchers, or wheelchairs as neededProvide support for CT services on a 24/7 coverage rotation as requiredRequirementsAssociate degree and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology programLicensed Radiographer in the State of WisconsinARRT registered in Radiography (required)ARRT registered in CT (preferred, or required within 1 year of hire)Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomyBasic computer proficiencyCurrent BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 6 weeks of hire)Pay range: $31.50–$48.00/hour (based on experience)Evening and night shift differentials availableBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance403(b) retirement plan with company matchTuition reimbursement opportunitiesEmployee discount programCompetitive paid time off (PTO)
