Key Responsibilities Conduct virtual initial assessments to gather comprehensive client histories, emphasizing their unique backgrounds and current challenges. Develop personalized treatment plans that align with each client's goals and therapeutic needs, incorporating evidence-based interventions. Deliver individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, using methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and other clinically recognized approaches. Engage in collaboration with interdisciplinary mental health professionals—such as psychologists and clinical social workers—to ensure a multifaceted approach to client care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation including progress notes and treatment plans, adhering to HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. Participate actively in clinical supervision and professional development opportunities to continuously refine clinical skills. Stay abreast of advancements in the field of marriage and family therapy by reviewing relevant literature and engaging in specialized training. Adhere to ethical standards and maintain strict confidentiality of client information. Patient Population / Client Focus The ideal candidate will have experience working with a broad and diverse range of clients, including adults, children, and families from various backgrounds. You will be tasked with addressing a wide array of issues such as relationship conflicts, behavioral concerns in children, and mental health struggles that affect individuals and families alike. Your ability to connect with clients and understand their unique circumstances will be vital in facilitating successful therapeutic relationships. Qualifications Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field, providing a solid foundation in psychological principles and therapeutic techniques. Current license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Washington, with the capacity to deliver therapy services in a remote setting. A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is essential for this role, enabling you to navigate various therapeutic scenarios effectively. Proficiency in formulating diagnostic assessments and treatment plans utilizing the DSM-5 framework.
