Employee Benefits Producer

Champion Risk & Insurance Services is seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Producer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven professional who understands how to turn complex benefits decisions into clear, practical strategies for employers. You will develop new business, advise clients on employee benefits solutions, and collaborate with an experienced service team to deliver exceptional results throughout the client lifecycle. What You’ll Do Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects through networking, referrals, strategic outreach, and community involvement Build trusted relationships with business owners, executives, HR leaders, and benefits decision-makers Assess each client’s workforce, business objectives, financial considerations, and risk tolerance Design and present employee benefits strategies that support recruitment, retention, cost management, and employee well-being Collaborate with account management, carrier, compliance, and leadership teams throughout the sales and implementation process Lead prospect presentations, renewal strategy discussions, and other client-facing meetings Maintain accurate pipeline, activity, and opportunity information within the company’s CRM Stay informed about market developments, regulatory changes, emerging benefits solutions, and industry trends Represent Champion Risk at industry events, professional associations, and community activities Meet established new-business and revenue goals while building a sustainable book of business What You Bring Demonstrated experience in employee benefits sales, consulting, or business development An active Life and Health insurance license A proven ability to generate opportunities and develop lasting client relationships Strong knowledge of group medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefits Familiarity with alternative funding arrangements, including level-funded and self-funded plans, is preferred Excellent presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills The ability to explain complex information clearly to executives and employees Strong organization, follow-through, and pipeline-management habits A collaborative approach and commitment to exceptional client service Comfort working independently while remaining connected to a broader team Why Champion Risk Champion Risk is an independent insurance brokerage built around expertise, relationships, and responsive service.
