CNC Machine Operator

Job Description

Pay- $16.75

Hours- 1st, 6am-2:30pm, Mon-Fri

Position Summary

The CNC Operator I operates CNC lathes and related machining equipment to produce hydraulic parts according to blueprint specifications. This role ensures parts meet quality, safety, and production standards while supporting a clean, efficient, and collaborative machine shop environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and identify blueprints and required materials for each job.
• Comply with standard work practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Meet quality expectations, inspect work for conformance, and initial and date Shop Tags.
• Segregate nonconforming or suspected nonconforming material and notify the supervisor in real time.
• Use various quality inspection tools to verify product uniformity and conformance.
• Perform minor machine maintenance as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Comply with all EHS and PPE policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two-year technical degree OR a minimum of two (2) years of related machining experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment toward shared goals.
• Flexibility and agility in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to perform a variety of tasks safely throughout the day.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, work around loud machinery, and perform repetitive motions.
