BIM Design Technology Specialist I

Job Summary Manages and maintains BIM, ensuring data integrity. Ensures design hardware and software function flawlessly with 100% uptime for the design team. Manages design technology innovation to ensure H‑E‑B can use technology to lower the total cost of ownership for its retail buildings. Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions Conducts ongoing review of the H‑E‑B Master Revit Family Library for inactive items; coordinates with appropriate team members for replacements to ensure data integrity. Assists in developing and documenting BIM workflow process standards; creates standard operating procedures (SOPs) to assist designers, consultants, and vendors. Assists in review, implementation, and management of supporting software. Assists in editing BIM execution plans in conjunction with Design team partners as needed. Supports onboarding, training, and evaluation processes for assigned consultant partners. Qualifications & Key Requirements Intermediate individual contributor in a professional role. Works independently within an established framework, receiving detailed instructions only on new assignments. Possesses specialized knowledge and skills required to perform the role. Applies practical knowledge, learned theories, concepts, principles, and methodologies to difficult but non‑complex, conventional assignments. Majority of work efforts are focused on meeting objectives related to implementation or delivery of processes, programs, and/or policies. Builds productive internal and external working relationships. Bachelor's degree or additional role-relevant experience. 2+ years of relevant experience preferred. Production experience in design, drafting or engineering using AutoDesk Revit software. Extensive knowledge of BIM and Revit software. General knowledge of building systems related to integration, structural, architectural, and MEPR design. Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and MS Office applications, especially Excel. Developing verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Strong influencing and collaboration skills. Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction science, or comparable technical diploma. Physical Demands & Working Conditions Function in a fast‑paced, office environment. Travel by car or plane with overnight stays. Work extended hours and/or rotating schedules.
