Medical Director of Adult Congenital Heart Disease

Overview Nemours Children's Hospital, Florida is seeking a physician to serve as Medical Director of our Adult Congenital Heart Disease program. The role involves establishing the ACHD clinic to serve teenagers and young adults with congenital heart disease. The Medical Director will identify the clinic location and dictate its operational logistics. The position is predominantly outpatient, with consultative support for post-operative management of ACHD patients, and a focus on expanding access and services for ACHD patients in the Orlando area. Responsibilities Establish and lead the ACHD clinic, serving the growing population of teenagers and young adults with congenital heart disease. Identify clinic location and determine operational logistics as the Medical Director. Provide predominantly outpatient care and offer consultative support for post-operative management of ACHD patients. Develop and expand access and services for ACHD patients in the Orlando area. Qualifications Eligible applicants will be board certified or board eligible in Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD). Applicants will be dual trained in internal medicine and pediatrics and have completed fellowships in adult and pediatric cardiology. #J-18808-Ljbffr
