ICU Travel RN Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio (compact/in-state as applicable)
• Critical Care (ICU) experience required; minimum 1 year preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to float to ICU, Stepdown, and Med/Surg units
• Completion of required health screenings and background checks
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient documentation skills

Key Responsibilities - Critical Care RN / ICU Nurse

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in a 32-bed ICU/Stepdown unit
• Manage patients with respiratory insufficiency, cardiac arrest, sepsis, stroke, renal disorders, and complex multisystem conditions
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1-1:3 in ICU and 1:4-1:5 in Stepdown
• Float as needed to Stepdown and Med/Surg, supporting staffing needs across inpatient areas
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
• Work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotations as required by assignment
