Facilities Project Manager

The PositionThe Public Works Department of Contra Costa County is looking for a highly qualified professional to fill the role of Supervising Capital Facilities Project Manager within the Capital Project Management (CPM) Division in Martinez, California. This leadership position will oversee the CPM Division and, under general direction, manage the County's delivery of major capital projects for its vertical assets. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management and will play a crucial role in overseeing high-profile projects from inception to completion, assisting in daily operations, and training and developing project managers within the Division.The Contra Costa County Public Works Department (CCCPWD) is responsible for the maintenance and operation of over 650 miles of roads, 79 miles of streams and channels, and over 150 County buildings. CCCPWD services include parks and recreation, sandbag distribution, flood control, road and facilities maintenance, and storm water management. CCCPWD operates two airports, Buchanan Field Airport in Concord, and Byron Airport in Byron. CCCPWD strives for continuous improvement to deliver cost effective, safe reliable and sustainable projects, programs, and quality services. The CPM Division is part of the Public Works Department.
