Supply Chain SpecialistThe Supply Chain Specialists responsible for managing the assigned category portfolio and associated activities. This includes but is not limited to maximizing supplier performance, supporting new product development, leading cost savings and avoidance projects, and other Sourcing related activities. She/he will lead negotiations of purchasing agreements and other contracts which include pricing, terms and conditions, risk mitigations, and warranties.The Supply Chain Specialist will develop, implement, and manage global strategies to provide values in supply assurance, pricing, flexibility, quality and delivery performance. They benchmark new processes, approaches, technology that provide improvements and value that we can utilize. The Supply Chain Specialist researches, identifies and analyzes current and emerging procurement trends, develops a deep understanding of market conditions and develops proposed global supply chain solutions focusing on total cost of ownership.Key Responsibilities + ExpectationsPurchases materials, supplies, and services for multiple global manufacturing and distribution facilitiesFollow up with our domestic and international suppliers on production planning and delivery datesShare with internal teams freight planning and ensure timely and accurate execution according to our planningWork with Accounts Payables on invoice processing and accuracyMaintaining and distributing various reports, among those, inventory, purchasing and freightNegotiate pricing and timeline for ordersIdentifies savings opportunities through the supply chainRequirements and QualificationsBachelor degree (preferred in Business, Finance, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management) from an accredited college or university is required.Speaking Mandarin or Vietnamese is a strong plus.Excellent organizational skills, attention-to-detail, and multitasking capability.Excellent communication skills at all levelsMinimum of 2 years of relevant or equivalent work experience and expertise.Track record of delivering significant cost reduction and service level improvements.Strong skills in freight and logisticsStrong analytical / organizational / data entry skillsMust have advanced Excel skillsBe able to work successfully and calmly in a challenging, high paced environmentAt Future Motion, we create revolutionary new recreation-transportation products.
