Position Summary

The facility is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to join its medical team in Shelton, CT .This is a full-time, permanent opportunity

Essential Position Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, compassionate care to patients across a wide range of health needs.
• Conduct thorough evaluations, develop individualized care plans, and manage ongoing treatment.
• Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe appropriate medications and therapies.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless and coordinated patient care.
• Promote preventive health measures and patient education to encourage long-term wellness.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation within the electronic medical record system.
• Participate in quality initiatives and continuous improvement efforts to enhance clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Licensure & Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine; eligible for Connecticut medical licensure.
• Experience: Prior clinical experience preferred, but new graduates and residents are welcome to apply.
