Every scan you perform carries weight, and here, your efforts are truly valued. Your Key Responsibilities
- Employ radiographic and CT methods to produce clear, diagnostic images for physician analysis
- Work closely with radiologists and fellow healthcare professionals to support precise diagnoses
- Expertly position patients and calibrate machinery for exceptional imaging results
- Implement radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff
- Keep meticulous records, including imaging logs and maintenance data on equipment
- Deliver empathetic, patient-centered care throughout the imaging process
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and efficient imaging workspace
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is essential; a Bachelor's Degree is advantageous
- Must have graduated from an accredited radiology program
- ARRT certification (CT and/or Radiography) required
- Current BLS certification or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging protocols and safety standards
- Exceptional communication abilities with patients and interdisciplinary team members
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced setting while adapting to evolving needs
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability
- Comfortable using PACS, RIS, and various imaging software tools
