Director, Global Marketing Oncology

Merck seeks a Global Marketing Director for Oncology to lead commercial strategy development for a novel bispecific antibody. The role involves shaping global asset strategy, generating market insights, managing launch preparedness, and collaborating across clinical, regulatory, and regional teams to support future commercialization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead global commercial strategy for bispecific antibody asset aligned with portfolio priorities
- Oversee market research, forecasting, competitive intelligence, and bispecific landscape tracking
- Establish and manage launch-planning milestones, timelines, and early commercialization activities
- Build cross-functional relationships with clinical, regulatory, medical affairs, regional, and commercial teams
- Provide commercial guidance on clinical development planning, target product profiles, and evidence generation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree minimum
- 8+ years pharmaceutical or biotechnology commercial experience (marketing, sales, market access, pricing)
- Deep understanding of oncology market dynamics, scientific innovation, healthcare policy, and reimbursement
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategy in complex, cross-functional environments
- Strong analytical and business acumen with demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to influence without direct authority
