You’ll be instrumental from the very first student day on 8/12/2026, guiding learners in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid Generalist and Special Education certifications
• Experience working with special needs students in a classroom setting preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to create and adapt lesson plans to meet individual student needs
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive and nurturing classroom atmosphere

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction to students in a self-contained Life Skills classroom
• Develop, implement, and track IEP goals and student progress
• Employ diverse teaching strategies to accommodate various learning abilities
• Work collaboratively with other professionals, support staff, and families
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulations
• Support the overall social, emotional, and academic development of each student
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and parent conferences as needed
