Operations Manager

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® is seeking an energetic and process-driven leader who enjoys mentoring a team. The Operations Manager will provide leadership to the operations team and assist in the daily operational aspects of the business. What We Offer Starting Pay: $55,000 annually Dynamic Workplace: Built on our Core Values Employee Wellness and Discount Programs What You'll Do Coach, motivate, develop, and manage movers, drivers, and trainers and hold the team accountable Conduct interviews, hire, and oversee new employee onboarding and training Hold regular meetings with operations teams Manage employee scheduling, truck assignments, and dispatch of moving crews Coordinate and direct fleet maintenance and equipment inventory Promote and ensure compliance with safety procedures, policies, DOT regulations, and FMCSA guidelines Develop strategic sales growth plans with the General Manager to meet revenue and profit objectives Oversee warehouse/storage management Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager Who We're Looking For Highly motivated, driven individual with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of multi-tasking Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities, with effective communication skills Preferably 3+ years of experience in operations or logistics A minimum of 2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership role required Must be at least 21 years old Valid driver's license, clean driving record, ability to drive company vehicles, and obtain Medical Examiners Certificate and Non-CDL Class C Proficient with MS Office, cloud-based storage, digital forms, and phone apps Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen Willing to work a five-day work week with every other Saturday off This job posting is for a position at the individually owned and operated TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® franchise located in Springfield, Illinois.
