Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit

Night shifts - Weekend requirement: 8 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (combination Fri/Sat/Sun) - Patient ratio: 1:5

Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13 weeks

Minimum 2 years RN experience

Community hospital experience required

Travel nursing experience required

BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications

Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation/management

Post-cardiac cath / post-MI care and femoral/groin site management

IV therapy: peripheral/Central line/PICC care, blood product administration, starting IVs

Respiratory support: HFNC, CPAP/BiPAP, basic airway support

Tracheostomy care, chest tube care, feeding tube management

Rapid response/code team participation

Wound care/Wound VAC

Scrubs: Navy

Maximum requested time off: 7 days (must be finalized at submission)

Documentation deadline: Documents due 2 Fridays before start date

Pre-start modules: 10–15 hours total; EPIC module should be completed first; some modules due 1 week prior

Labs: Must be completed within 48–72 hours of signing

Infusion pump and glucometer training: Must be completed by the Sunday prior to start
