Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Florida DOE Teacher for Visually Impaired certification
• Proficiency in teaching Braille required
• Experience or willingness to teach K-12 students
• District fingerprint clearance (or transferable prints from AHCA Clearinghouse)
• Prior experience supporting visually impaired students preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction and support to 12 students across five schools (690 service minutes/week)
• Provide two consultative services as assigned
• Adapt instructional materials and strategies to meet individual students’ needs
• Travel between school sites as required (routes and assignments provided)
• Maintain detailed records and collaborate with on-site teams
